My photographs are snapshots, but loaded ones. I guess I try to get whatever's there. I'm not sure about the term "snapshots", though. I mean, if I was to do a portrait of you right now, I would do it black and white, hand-held, very simple, very fast, but I would get a certain thing of you that you would recognise, and other people would recognise in you. And that would make it a meaningful portrait.
